Emily Seibert, M.Ed., LAPC, NCC, graduated from the University of Georgia in Community Counseling. She has successfully completed the requirements to become a Nationally Certified Counselor as well as Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Emily’s aspiration is to ensure clients feel accepted and supported to be themselves. Emily’s client-centered approach to counseling allows clients to learn and grow while feeling respected and supported.

Emily worked as a Counseling Intern at The Ministry Village of Loganville. At the Ministry Village, Emily gained experience working with a variety of clients and clinical challenges such as, behavioral problems, social skills, anger management, divorce and parent separation, anxiety and related disorders, mood disorders, and adjustment to life changes. Emily also conducted supervised visits for children and their non-custodial parents. Before pursuing her graduate degree in counseling, Emily also gained experience co-leading social skills groups at Art It Out Therapy Center in Marietta, GA as an undergraduate intern. In addition to her clinical experience, Emily has worked with children and adolescents as a camp counselor.

It is Emily’s hope that all clients feel empowered and cared for during the counseling process. Emily strives to highlight client’s strengths to build confidence and enable personal growth through her client-centered approach. Emily believes that an authentic and empathetic environment is essential to helping children and adolescents face and overcome their challenges. Helping children and their families is very important to Emily, and she works with the family system as well as the individual to help clients achieve their personal goals.

Ms. Seibert works under the Direction and Supervision of Thrive Counseling’s Clinical Director E. Amanda Dellinger-Allen, LPC while at Thrive.
